Drone Attacks and The Muslim World

Drone attacks on Muslim countries from USA are alarming for the world. Every day the figure of casualties is increasing as a result the hatred for the USA in the hearts of Muslim also increasing. The most advance technology of drone attacks are like target killing but the rate of innocent killing is always on high side especially in Pakistan.  The US has launched drone strikes in Pakistan over 330 times with up to 3,247 casualties – including up to 852 civilians.

The U.S. government is known to have used drones to carry out lethal attacks in at least six countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen. It is considered as criminal and cowardly act by these countries. The United States was identified in June 2010 as the world’s No. 1 user of targeted killings — largely as a result of its dependence on unmanned drone attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan. CNN

The recent drone attacks from the last week news are as in Yemen drone attack leave more than 30 dead. In a separate incident in the east of the country meanwhile, a suspected US drone strike killed five Al-Qaeda members late Saturday, a local official said. “Twenty people have been killed and 20 others wounded,” governor Jamal al-Aqal said in a statement on the suicide attack posted on the defence ministry’s website. In addition, US drone attack kills 5 in Yemen on 4 august. A U.S. drone strike killed five people travelling in the same vehicle late Saturday in eastern Yemen.

Even in Palestinian one has been killed and another injured in an assassination drone strike carried out by the Israeli regime against the besieged Gaza Strip. Hence the way USA attacking on such countries and on the name of terrorism killing innocent people should not be allowed. The Pakistan which is the only nuclear power of Islamic world should take some serious steps to stop this drone attacks. The army chief in his visit to USA also demands for the drone technology, so as to use it for the killing of terrorist rather than his civilians in more precautions way.
