History of Islam
The history of Islam started back in 601BC, when the holy angel Gabriel gave Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH), the holy scripts of the Quran. They were in the Arabic language and he had to recite them to the followers and to interpret to them. This was not easy at first to get the attention of the people and it was in Mecca, when the holy prophet, (PBUH) had to start spreading the message of Allah. Inside the scriptures, there was a way of life and this made it very easy for people to know what is right and avoiding the wrong path. Many people wanted to know more about the Islamic religion and the holy prophet had a hard time delivering the message to the people from different religions of the country.
At this time according to the History of Islam, the place was filed with too much idol worshiping and Allah wanted to save the people from this. Through Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH), Allah was able to channel the message to the masses and this led to the Islamic revolution. Many people were not comfortable with the many rules of life that were presented in the holy teaching and chose to rebel to it. According to the teachings, it was important for one to only the traders, stop-making profits from malicious ways and stop idol worship. During this time, the people were very free, and were not having any codes of life and found the message of Islam boring since it had many rules.
The holy prophet kept on preaching the revelations to the masses and it grew stronger by the day. Many people did not understand the Arabic language and it slowed down the pace of the reading and understanding the scriptures. Based on the History of Islam, scholars indicate that the first Quran, that was handed down by angel Gabriel is still visible in Mecca and this is why it is regarded to as the holy land and every Muslim needs to visit it at least once on their lifetime.
