Kareena kapooor to be a Muslim?

Rumors have been circulating that Kareena kapoor will convert to Islam after marriage, although no evidences to the actualization of this act have been received by the general public.

The couple will be married between October 11-21, 2012 as Saif Ali Khan, the groom, had been seen registering the dates.

Kareena Kapoor is 32 and Saif Ali Khan, above, is 40. They continue to be the hottest couple of the Bollywood town. Saif Ali Khan belongs to the riches, Patudi Khandaan, and is the owner of much land and many properties. His father was a renowned cricketer and married Sharmila Tagore, who was once an Indian actress. Sharmila Tagore converted to Islam before her marriage to Saif Ali Kha.

It has been believed that Kareena Kapoor will also be converted to Islam before becoming an official member of the of the Khan family. Sources have said, “The latest buzz about the Saifeena wedding is whether they are going for a court marriage or not? If the grapevines are to be believed, Saif was seen visiting a marriage registrar’s office in the Bandra area on September 12th. It seems that Chote Nawab has submitted all of the required documents for marriage. As Indian law states, the couple can get married 30 days after the application is completed. Therefore, they can have a court marriage, any day they choose after October 11.

It has been speculated that the couple famously known as Saifeena might end up doing a court marriage. If they do this, the registry will take place at Saif’s house in Bandra Mumbai.

As far as the last name of Kareena Kapoor is concerned, she appears to be hesitating to change it upon her marriage. Lately, many actresses have been keeping their previous last names after marriage, while a majority have been adding the new names to the older one. As for Kareena Kapoor, it has been speculated that she’ll have her name as “Kareena Kapoor Khan,” which seems fair-enough these days.

According to the Mumbai Mirror, “On September 12, Saif visited the Bandra marriage registrar’s office. According to sources there, the actor submitted all the necessary details and filed an application for marriage. The law says the couple may get married on any date post completion of 30 days from Sep 12, which means any day between Oct 11 and Oct 17, as Sharmila Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s has invited friends and well wishers for the Dawat-e-Walima on October 18, which according to tradition is the day-after dinner hosted in honour of a wedded couple.”

She may or may not be converted to Islam and become Muslim, but in Islam, its necessary for a man to marry a Muslim lady one who is a follower of the Holy books sent by Allah. So will Kareena Kapoor be Muslim or not? It is the talk of the town these days!
