Obama Is Muslim

There is much controversies and rumors about the religion of the president Obama. These rumors are in the air since his presidential elections. Barack Obama religion conspiracy theories—allegations that he secretly follows a non-Christian religion, he has more sympathies for Muslim and give less favor to Israel,  and that —have been suggested ever since Barack Obama began his campaign to become President of the United States in 2007. One In Six Americans Believe Obama Is Muslim according to the recent poll. This result is surprising because he denied many times that he is not a Muslim. Zainab Al-Suwaij, executive director of the American Islamic Congress, expressing surprise over the persistent number of American voters (16 percent) by saying that President Obama denied 100 times that he is not Muslim then still people believe that he is Muslim.

This controversy some in the air after the emails that was revolving on the internet for long. Why the misperception has that Obama is a Muslim increased over time? As Republicans and independents view Obama more unfavorably, they’re likely to be more receptive to negative information about him, including false claims about his religion. This will also affect his future election campaign. Catholic voters overall say they would be more likely to vote for Obama (46 percent) than Romney (39 percent), though white Catholic voters state a preference for Romney over Obama (48 to 37 percent).

As people thinks that he is Muslim even a small step firms there believes. After Obama’s feeble defense of Muslim Americans’ freedom to build a community center, which includes a mosque, , a poll from the Pew Research Center reveals that nearly 20% of Americans — up from 11% a year ago — consider him a Muslim, and nearly 43% are unsure of his religion.

Since President Obama clearly said many times about his religious believes still there is confusion and doubt in the minds of many Americans.
